TOP GUN

wpe15.jpg (8000 bytes)
Waiting for the only type of Hollywood excitement that you can only find at Paramount's Kings Island? Well, look no further because TOP GUN is waiting for you!

Paramount's Kings Island’s arsenal of roller coasters grew in 1993 with the addition of the innovative TOP GUN, a suspended coaster which hangs from the track instead of riding on top of the track like conventional roller coasters.

Unique in design and themeing, this coaster is fashioned to parallel the popular motion picture of the same name, providing guests with a total experience from the moment they get in line through the exit of the ride.

TOP GUN’s one-minute 45-second ride sends passengers over 50 miles per hour through an explosive array of twists and turns as it weaves its way though the hilly wooded terrain before returning to the station which resembles an aircraft carrier. The ride was manufactured by Arrow Dynamics, and theming was created by motion picture production designer, John DeCuir.

Don’t miss your chance to soar through the clouds this year on TOP GUN at Paramount's Kings Island!
